M.R. Electricians of Maryland is looking to hire an Electrical Apprentice to learn and maintain electrical standards from a lead tech/foreman.

Job Responsibilities

Go into our client’s homes and businesses to

1. Executing plans of electrical wiring for lighting and power systems per instruction of lead tech
2. Preparing and assembling conduits and running wire through them
3. Connecting wiring to form electrical circuits and networks, ensuring compatibility of components
4. Assisting in troubleshooting and identification of hazards under lead tech guidance
5. Installation of electronic controls, fixtures, sensors, and panels
6. Testing of electrical systems and continuity of circuits utilizing safe testing devices
7. Moving materials from drop off point to the location indicated by the lead tech/foreman
8. Maintaining tools/equipment and keeping supplies and parts in order
9. Assisting lead tech/foreman with the above, but not limited to tasks

Job Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid drivers license
• Already enrolled or will enroll in IEC within 1 year of employment
• Must successfully pass background check
• Ability to work with hand tools
• Ability to safely operate power tools
• Problem-solving skills
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects, squad, bend down, climb ladders
