Mr. Electricians of Maryland is looking to hire an experienced Project Manager / Estimator to join our team.

The Project Manager/Estimator plays a vital role in estimating electrical projects and developing detailed project plans for successful execution of jobs or projects

Job Responsibilities

Go into our clients’ homes and businesses to 

• Estimate electrical jobs (fire alarm estimating a plus). 
• Develop and coordinate comprehensive plans and schedules for projects.
• Manage material quotes, acquisitions, and job schedules. 
• Oversee all RFIs and related processes. 
• Manage Financial aspects of projects through continuous job forecasting. 
• Ensure successful project delivery by managing costs, schedules , safety, quality, and adherence to the scope of work and budget. 
• Track and document change orders, resolve project issues, secure customer signatures, and collaborate with Accounting for billing. 
• Assist in project safety management and compliance with OSHA and Company safety regulations. 
• Communicate job expectations and goals and conduct Start-Up meeting with foreman. 
• Assist in creating procedures to streamline project execution. 
• Manage job closeout procedures to streamline project execution, while providing supervision and direction.  
• Handle multiple project assignments simultaneously. 
• Manage and review project budgets, forecasts, cost estimates, proposals, and schedules. 
• Maintain strong relationships with the team, customers, owners, subcontractors, and vendors. 
• Attend organizational and customer meetings as needed or assigned. 
• Perform additional tasks as part of a collaborative team environment.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• 4 or more years of related experience (Required) 
• McCormick’s Estimating Software Experience (Required)
• Electrical Experience (Required)
• Ability to read blueprints (Required)
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 (Preferred, but not required)
• Fire Alarm Experience (Preferred, but not required)
• Journeyman License or above (Preferred, but not required) 
• NIECT Certification (Preferred, but not required) 
• Background in the electrical field with a Journeyman’s license or higher
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams. 
• Experience using Bluebeam is a PLUS.
• Experience using Service Fusion is a PLUS. 
• Ability to Multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. 
• Strong technical and Communication Skills.
• Experience with Electrician systems, Fire Alarm systems, design, and installation and/or maintenance.

Pay:

$60,000-$125,000 a year. Pay is based on experience and skills.
